Titre de série : Applied scientific research, Vol.58 No.1-4 Titre : The Iordansky–Kogarko–van Wijngaarden Model: Shock and Rarefaction Wave Interactions in Bubbly Media Type de document : articles et extraits Auteurs : V. K. Kedrinskii, Auteur Année de publication : 1997-1998 Importance : p.115-130 ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 0003-6994 Langues : Français (fre) Résumé : The paper presents the results of IKvanW two-phase mathematical model applications for description of wave processes in a liquid media with bubbles of free gas and microinhomogeneities. The attenuation of shock waves and their amplification in bubbly liquid, a conception of real liquids with microinhomogeneities as a two-phase liquids and process of rarefaction wave formation in such media, the problem of unbounded inertial development of bubble cluster and the inversion problem of two-phase state of cavitating liquids will be considered. The studies have shown that an influence of a chemical reaction in gas phase on the parameters and a structure of waves in reactive bubbly medium, the processes in volatile liquids when they are suddenly depressurized as well as the ignition mechanisms of detonation in liquid high explosion can be also described within the framework of IKvanW model supplemented by the equation of chemical kinetics.
